About Event,
In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, businesses in India face increasing challenges in managing their IT infrastructure and ensuring robust cybersecurity. The complexity of modern IT environments, coupled with the need for continuous innovation, has made it imperative for organizations to seek external expertise. This is where Managed Service Providers (MSPs) come into play. MSPs offer a range of services, including network management, cybersecurity, data backup, and IT support, allowing businesses to focus on their core operations while ensuring their IT systems run smoothly and securely.
Globally, enterprises are shifting from product-based to service-oriented consumption models, and this trend is positively impacting India and its enterprises. Particularly, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are aggressively seeking services from vendors. This growing demand for Managed Security/Service Providers (MSP/MSSP) in India has triggered significant growth in the MSP ecosystem within the country. Customers now expect MSPs to support them at every stage of their ICT modernization and digital transformation journey. The global managed services market size reached USD 380.50 billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach USD 757.10 billion by 2030.
As customers modernize their infrastructure, network, and security, they need partners who can support them from consultation on solution design to building applications, optimization, and ongoing support. Therefore, MSPs must elevate their skillsets across various domains and obtain certifications to be customer-ready.
The market potential for MSPs in India is significant and growing rapidly. According to recent reports, the managed services market in India was valued at approximately INR 43,857.4 crore in 2024 and is expected to reach INR 93,197.3 crore by 2033, exhibiting a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.7% during the forecast period. This growth is driven by several factors.
As Indian businesses undergo digital transformation, the demand for managed services is increasing. MSPs play a crucial role in helping organizations adopt and integrate new technologies seamlessly. The widespread adoption of cloud computing is a major driver for the managed services market. MSPs provide cloud management services, including migration, optimization, and security, enabling businesses to leverage the benefits of cloud technology. The SME sector in India is expanding rapidly, and these businesses often lack the resources to manage their IT infrastructure in-house. MSPs offer affordable and scalable solutions that cater to the unique needs of SMEs. With growing awareness of cybersecurity risks, businesses are investing more in managed security services. MSPs provide advanced security solutions that help organizations protect their data and mitigate risks.
After the successful MSP event in 2024, SME Channels is set to repeat the MSP India Summit in 2025 on in June at Aerocity, New Delhi. The objective of MSP India Summit is to create a ground of thought leadership around emerging technologies, skillsets, and how MSPs can scale up their services. Vendors now have a platform to showcase their solutions for service offerings. For partners, it is a place of great networking and learning new opportunities. The event will feature tier-1 MSPs, including Infosys, TCS, Birlasoft, Coforge, Yotta, HCL Technologies, GT Bharat, AWS, etc. along with tier-2 partners who are MSPs or have started investing in MSP opportunities.
